Chapter Five: After securing a job as a banjo player in the Opryland Dixieland Band, Chris not only met the woman who would later become his wife but also fortuitously caught the attention of iconic musical performer Wayne Newton. Newton took a particular interest in Chris and invited him to move to Las Vegas and play in his band. And Newton did this without ever hearing Chris play a note!
